Blade Damage Monitoring
Structural health monitoring for rotor blades
Avoid catastrophic failures with continuous blade monitoring for structural integrity.
These companies use EOLOGIX-PING’s structural health monitoring system
That’s what our :STRUCTURAL HEALTH monitoring system does for you
The aim of every operator is to achieve the maximum possible revenue with his wind farm. :STRUCTURAL HEALTH utilizes acoustic sensors for crack detection and propagation, powered by Kinetic Power Supply and they are self-communicating. The system enables detection of root zone damage, notifies operators via dashboard, facilitating informed decisions on maintenance actions.
Root zone structural damage detection
:STRUCTURAL HEALTH uses sound emissions via acoustic sensors for crack detection and propagation.
Sound from wind turbine blades is received by the microphone and processed through different algorithms to identify noise from damage.
Depending on the sound generated by the respective rotor blade, the IN-BLADE technology “hears” whether there is rotor blade damage or not.
Self-powering and communicating
The system is powered by the Kinetic Power Supply (KPS), which enables self-powering and communication.
It communicates independently with the cloud with no connection to wind turbine systems.
Based on proven science
:STRUCTURAL HEALTH was developed based on the proven science of crack propagation and acoustic emission.

:STRUCTURAL HEALTH - Root zone damage detection
:STRUCTURAL HEALTH detects root zone damage using sound emission, notifying operators when needed
- Monitors root zone damage
- Identifies transverse cracks, delamination, and root zone damage
Stop damage early, stay operational longer.
Smart structural health monitoring for data-driven, cost-efficient turbine maintenance.
Detect root zone damage before it becomes critical, prioritize repairs, and prevent costly failures with real-time insights that keep your turbines running smoothly.
Know the condition of your blades
Early detection of root zone damage for optimization
Early damage detection is essential to prevent major failures and unscheduled downtimes.
Check damage changes to prioritize repair and shutdown
Not all damage needs immediate attention. Real-time blade health monitoring helps schedule repairs effectively, keeping turbines operational.
Prevent major damage before failure occurs
Continuous surface damage monitoring prevents secondary damage, reduces unscheduled maintenance and ensures optimal blade performance.
Data-driven decision-making
To be able to make the right decisions at the right time, you need concrete data. Our system provides you with the data you need, and not data overflow.
