An eventful year at EOLOGIX-PING

As we approach the end of 2023, we are delighted to share a comprehensive overview of the remarkable journey EOLOGIX-PING has embarked on this year. From the merger with Ping Services to the successful entry into the Japanese market – in this years review, we would like to look back together on all the great highlights of 2023.

Strong together: two become one

May 2023 marked as transformative moment for EOLOGIX-PING as we officially joined forces with the Australian Ping Services. Since then, we have been pulling together as eologix-Ping solidifying our commitment to becoming the world’s leading provider of integrated rotor blade monitoring technology. With this step and other major goals in mind, we are already looking forward to our ambitious goals and for the years to come.

Successful start in Japan

EOLOGIX-PING has not only made its mark on European and American wind turbines but has also successfully entered the Japanese market. The importance of continuous rotor blade monitoring cannot be overstated, and our intelligent sensor system has proven its effectiveness in ensuring the safety and efficiency of wind farms worldwide.

Today, rotor blades exceed 100 meters in length and weigh 55 tons – all crafted by hands! Rotor blades, in particular, stand out as among the most delicate components of turbines. By 2029, maintenance is projected to comprise up to ten percent of the entire O&M market. This underscores the significance of continuous monitoring for wind turbine operators worldwide.

“Equipping a wind farm in Japan represents a significant achievement for our entire team and reaffirms our global recognition as a reliable provider of cutting-edge rotor blade monitoring technology.”

Prioritizing safety for wind turbines

Our ON-TOWER systems are already detecting the sounds of damaged rotor blades on numerous wind turbines around the world. This year, we were able to monitor over 1,000 turbines with our smart ON-TOWER and IN-BLADE systems to increase their safety.

New location with new production in Graz

The move of our headquarters in Graz, Austria, to our new office building in Waagner-Biro-Strasse was another success. Modern workstations, meeting zones for creativity and lunch breaks, four-legged part-time employees 🐶 and the option to work from home allow us to work in line with the “New Work” concept.

The production team is also pleased to have much more working space and storage space in the new premises. The modern workstations in ESD design meet the special requirements.
